It’s mainly small fixes and adjustments, but also at least one nasty bug has been squashed and proper joypad/stick support has been implemented.

Oh, and there also is one new song as well.

Umlautgames has finished its first game and stands from the shadows to the harsh digital fluorescent light to say, “Please play it!”. Originally conceived by myself (I am Helm!) as a variation of Urthwurm in the capable coding hands of Fuzzpilz it became much more, very fast. The additional design was brainstormed between the two of us, until we were joined by Ptoing on extra graphics (most of the graphics, to be precise), DarkStalkey on sound effects, Lackey on even more graphic goodness and Ghormak on music. That group named itself Umlautgames when Thrustburst was about 85% done.

We then sat there and did nothing for the game for a year and a half.

Recently though the stars aligned favorably and pushed us to a proper release. Download the game here and be sure to tell us what you think!

We have two more projects in various stages of design and implementation which we will periodically show off and discuss on this website while waiting for the stars to realign.
